Average Liberal? Nah. Oversized Tee

Every day I sit down, go through the news, and try to make sense of it out loud, live, for whoever's watching. And every day, someone decides they know exactly who I am before I've finished a sentence — "typical intellectual liberal," said like it settles the argument.

It doesn't. Reading, checking, doubting, sometimes changing my mind, then showing up to do it again tomorrow — that's not a label, that's the job.

So I put the label in a box. Right there on the shirt. And let it crack open. Not to start a fight — just to stop being filed away by people who never watched past the headline. If you've ever been reduced to a caption before anyone gave you a real look, this one's yours too.
